Rapid HIV / STI Testing

Corporación Kimirina has a team of promoters duly trained and qualified in the provision of rapid HIV tests by the Ministry of Public Health and in linking people with screening tests with HIV Reactive and / or positive results. to the Comprehensive Health Care Units (UAIS) for their care, care and treatment of HIV infection.

Our voluntary HIV testing and counseling services target key populations for HIV, such as: gay, bisexual men, other men who have sex with men, transsexual and transgender women, as well as other sectors of the population. general particularly young women and men susceptible to contracting HIV infection.

The CCAPVs of the Kimirina Community Services Network are spaces where the approach of sexuality between peers is facilitated, in an open, respectful and without prejudice way.

Our promoters / brigadistas work outside the Community Counseling Centers for Voluntary HIV Testing (CCAPV) visiting places of high impact for HIV such as:

To carry out these activities, our community team also provides on-site, under the concept of opportunity:

We have mobile units to be closer to the communities. Also, in addition to developing face-to-face activities and outreach to equals, we participate in:

• Health fairs, and
• Other public participation activities of key populations for the program.
